Sara also played sports for Pakistan. She loves making people smile and being her bubbly self. Despite the challenges of being a Christian, she believes that all religions should be respected, uniting us as a country with a shared culture.

Let’s dive into our conversation where Sara talks about her dancing journey and making content that spreads joy.

  • How did your journey into dancing and content creation begin?
I started dancing at the age of 4, inspired by the song “Boley Chudaiyan.” Dancing became a comfort and passion, leading me to my first professional gig at the Lux Style Awards in 2016. My family, especially my mom, sister, and a few mentors, played a crucial role in nurturing my dance abilities.
  • Tell us about your experiences on Bol TV’s game show and “The Insta Show.”
Bol and “The Insta Show” were incredible experiences. What stands out the most is meeting my best friend, Dua Hareem Nain, along with the support from childhood friend Ali and Hasan Sadiq. We could be ourselves, take a break from responsibilities, and simply enjoy the journey together.
  • Your dance routines are creative. How do you come up with such engaging content?
My dance style tends to reflect my mood. My dance community, often overlooked, influenced me greatly. They motivated me to push my boundaries, leading to content that resonates with both dancers and the audience.
  • Can we expect to see you in a drama or film soon?
I recently participated in a drama called “Picnic Funding.” While I’m not a television enthusiast, I’m open to what the future holds. Stay tuned for updates!
  • Who are your favorite TikTokers or influencers that inspire you?
Instead of drawing inspiration from others, I strive to be my own source of motivation. However, my close friends from the TikTok world, including Dua Hareem Nain, Ali Sheikh, and Usman Butt, have been instrumental in my journey.
  • Who’s your favorite actor or actress in Pakistan’s entertainment industry?
Mehwish Hayat, Zara Noor Abbas, Kiran Aashfaq, and Osman Khalid Butt have captured my heart. Their authenticity, adherence to values, and connection to our culture are truly commendable.
  • Balancing dance, content creation, and other commitments can be challenging. How do you manage your time effectively?
Time management isn’t my strongest suit, yet my social media community is understanding and supportive. Their unwavering encouragement keeps me going.
  • How do you handle criticism and negativity while staying focused on your creative side?
Initially, criticism affected me deeply, but over time, I realized everyone has their opinions. I focus on personal growth and refrain from offending others. Understanding that everyone fights their battles helps me stay centered.
  • Are there any creators, dancers, or artists you’re eager to collaborate with?
Collaborations excite me, especially with fellow contemporary dancers. Although I haven’t found someone as passionate about this style, I’ve cherished every collaboration that came my way.
  • What are your future plans and goals in dance and content creation?
My dream is to establish a studio, offering a space for those who lack the means to freely explore dance. Regardless of future endeavors, dance will forever be my life force, and I’m immensely grateful to all who have supported me on this journey.
